  3. INTRODUCTION

  5.      The NoteCard program was developed to review and learn any topic. The idea behind the program is reiteration. The pathology questions in this package serve as an example of how one might construct one's own questions for review. Complete documentation is included in the file "NoteCard Instructions." To get started without reading the documentation simply double-click on one or any number of the files in the folder "Pathology Questions." This will start the NoteCard 2.4 application and open those files. Then select "Test" from NoteCard's "Special" menu.

  9.      The NoteCard ShareWare Package 1.7 should include the following files:

  12. • NoteCard Instructions 1.1 (complete documentation in MS Word 4.0/5.0 format)

  14. • 'Pathology Questions' folder containing a number of example files.

  22.      be of even greater use to students who want to use the
  23.      authoring system throughout medical school to prepare
  24.      their own questions for ongoing study. At $15 it is

  29.      A database of almost 7000 questions exists and is available FREE when the shareware fee of $15.00 is received . These NoteCard files can be used to study for NBME I and II. The author of the questions received an overall score of 700 (99%) on NBME I (Spring 1990).
